Update — October 3, 2026: that V1 dev time-slice (1.64%, one minute per 61-minute cycle)
and its ad/clan waivers are retired. The app fee is 0%: our own cut is gone, and mining
direct to MoneroOcean waives the XMRig fork's 1%. The original text is kept above, struck through, for the
record.
One phone would almost never find a Monero block on its own. Pooling fixes that.
VoltMiner connects your phone to the MoneroOcean mining pool. Your device contributes its hashrate (mining work); the pool combines the work of thousands of miners to find Monero blocks far more often, then pays each miner their share — proportional to the work they contributed — straight to their own wallet. So you earn small, steady amounts instead of waiting (likely forever) to strike a block solo. You can verify your hashrate and payouts anytime on the MoneroOcean dashboard.
VoltMiner is still in development and has not been released yet. When it ships it will not be on Google Play — their policy bans on-device miners — so these are the sources we will publish to:
